The High School was established in 2013 by merging "Gheorghe Marzescu" Secondary School Iasi, a school with a tradition since 1926, with the Technical College of Electronics and Telecommunications founded in 1973, with a total number of 600 students and 70 employees. Our school has 2 main buildings: Building A-the high school and Building B-primary and secondary levels. The school is situated in a working-class neighbourhood.
Technological High School of Electronics and Telecommunications 'Gh. Marzescu' Iasi pursues the dynamic modeling of the school's educational capacities, based on the identification and harmonization of the different categories of student requirements with the school's resources, as an adequate response to the demands of the labor market, the circular economy and the demanding requirements of European integration. We need to correlate local economic realities with European quality standards in all areas of specialization, for the complex training of high school graduates.
The prestige of the school has been built and consolidated over time through the involvement in the training process of future teachers, especially in the training of students for the labor market in the future, but also through partnerships with prestigious national and international institutions. We are a school with a tradition of vocational and technical education in IASI, our city. The school became operational in 1973 under the patronage of the "Tehnoton" factory. Since then, generations of young people have been educated to become highly qualified professionals in the fields of electronics, automation, electrical engineering, computer and telecommunications, working in companies in Iasi and in other cities of the country.
